New Plants Trap More CO2

Scientists have genetically modified plants to capture more CO2 according to this very interesting article published at Springwise:

Researchers Develop Plants That Can Trap More Carbon Dioxide

According to the article, once the enhanced CO2 consuming plants are performing at peak levels they could reduce the CO2 in the air by as much as 46% per year.

Plants consume CO2 and make O2

The good news is plants already consume CO2 and need it to survive and thrive.  By adding plants to your workspace, you can help clean up the air you breath as well as help with the bigger picture of reducing CO2 over all to help save the planet.
