How Dracaena Cane Plants are Grown

Dracaena Cane plant are often grown from root stock and the canes are cut off and then potted, where the cut off cane grows roots and takes hold has a new plant.  The root stock then grows new canes and the process repeats.

Above is a photo of Dracaena root stock being grown outside
This photo shows freshly cut canes about to be potted

These cut canes are potted up and allowed to take root and grow in the shade tent
The shade tent prepares the plant for eventual indoor use.
