Ficus Alli Stand Tall

We wanted to give a little more height to these Ficus Alli trees so we put them in tall containers and it worked perfectly.  The containers are topped with color coordinated river rock and lighting that point up into the tree as finishing touches.  See the three photos below:

Alocasia African Mask

The Everything Grows Interior Designer felt the Alocasia African Mask was the perfect compliment to this decor and made it a centerpiece in a modern chrome bowl.

Even though its common name is African Mask, this Alocasia along with other Alocasia varieties is from Southeast Asia.  Different varieties can grow quite large and be very dramatic.  They require very good light, warmth, and humidity to thrive so they can be temperamental indoors.

Note the plant to the left is the Sansevieria Zeylanica and the centerpiece above the couch is a plant wall in a shipping pallet.

White Is in Again

We are getting more requests for white containers to match new decor lately -- a fascinating trend since white has not been in for awhile.  One of our container suppliers told us their number one selling color this year is white.  Here are two photos from a recent install of white containers in a model home -- and we have to admit they look great!

Ficus Alli in Conference Room

This is a perfect specimen of a Ficus Alli that we just placed in our customer's conference room.  We hand selected this plant from the grower.  It will have a long and healthy life with all of the natural indirect light streaming in through the windows.
